I just love the Reaganesque humor of Sarah Palin.
The Associated Press notes that some protestors interupted a joint McCain-Palin rally in Hershey, PA. Palin was unshaken: “When we get a protest like that I’m always tempted to tell security, `let them stay, maybe they’ll learn a thing or two.’”
Meanwhile, “The One” gets adoration for enduring wintery weather at an outdoor rally even though the same weather caused a delay in the World Series and the cancellation of a McCain rally nearby.
I, for one, am not terribly surprised to learn that Obama would make 8,000 supporters stand in the cold rain. After all, this is the same Obama who plans to make the press pay big money to cover his victory rally next Tuesday night.
Such is the price of greatness. (Of course, his opponents have to pay a different kind of price.)
And by the way, if McCain is such a longshot in Pennsylvania, then why is Obama standing in the freezing rain in Chester, PA, when he could be campaigning in warmer climates?
