The French Prime Minister, among other things, has referred to Obama’s position on Iran as “utterly immature” and “very problematic.”
But, from my review of Morrissey’s report, here’s the rub:
In fact, Sarkozy believes that Obama would wind up being more unilateral than George Bush in his foreign policy. When a French politician uses the word “arrogant” as an accusation, that means something. Apparently, their brief meeting during the Obama World Tour did not set Sarkozy’s mind at ease. He saw something that makes him extremely uneasy with Obama in charge of American diplomacy.
Also, from the original story:
Advisors to the French president who held separate meetings with Obama’s advisors came away with similar impressions and expressed similar disappointment.
Wonder if this may be related to the foreign policy crisis Joe Biden predicted? My friends, Obama is not ready to lead.
