The Ohio Coal Association responds to Senator Government.
H/T “Swamp Yankee” at Red State.
If West Virginia weren’t already in the bag for McCain, this would’ve clinched it–as evidenced by the reaction here.
But could this new revelation also tip the scales in states like . . . Colorado?
Take a gander at Mason-Dixon’s battleground polling here and you’ll start to see the potential impact of Obama’s recent comments. And if you haven’t heard them yet, you can now watch the video here. Pass it along to everyone you can.
UPDATE: Palin’s on the move in “coal country.” One problem with the story is that it suggests the media has not suppressed the comments and calls Palin’s allegations to the contrary “false.” However, I read somewhere (sorry, I forget where now) that even though the video/audio links were posted by the San-Fran Chronicle, no transcript had ever been made, such that it would be near impossible for someone to discover what was said through reasonable inquiry. That’s not the textbook definition of a cover-up, see The LA Times on Khalidi, but it’s not exactly transparency, either.
